Yawn
There's nothing interesting to report today. I worked yesterday, and then came home and ate leftovers. Today is my day off work. Yay! So far I've had my workout and bike ride. It's mostly cloudy here, and the ground and roads are wet from rain last night.

I am an elite well trained fighting machine!
My Husband and I have been playing Planetside Reserves the last couple of days. It's a MMO-ish FPS-ish kind of game that is addicting. We played this game before back when it was in beta testing, and we even subscribed to it for a few months. After a while you get bored with it, but hey, its free.
I like to get in the MAX suits (kinda like mech armor) and zip around attacking stuff. I was on a nice streak last night, defending a tower almost by myself. Woo! My husband is learning some of the flying vehicles right now...I think I hear him crashing one right now in fact...heehee!

Taking Care of My Car
My tires are showing signs of "uneven wear", so I called and got an appointment to get my wheels alligned.
I don't want the repair guys to think I'm sloppy messy, so I washed my car after work. I swept it out first, and then gathered together all my extra crap that I have been hauling around in the car. How did I accumulate so much junk? And how did that petrified french fry get under my seat...ewww! I found 75 cents, 2 tubes of chapstick and some hair elastics under the seat.

Happy Memorial Day
It was a nice holiday for some people. I had to work 9:30am to 6pm. I'm not going to complain because I get holiday pay for today. =)

Its Getting Hot in Here
Today was our first day the temperatures were up in the 90s for this year. We have the fans turned up up up to stay cool.
The kids and I played tennis a little bit. We found a shady spot in the park...thank goodness...playing out in the sun we wouldn't have lasted very long. I did play some computer games too. I beat my hubby at Warcraft 3 !!!

I had a busy day today. I worked 8 hours, and when I got home we had company. Mom and dad and the kiddos were all there eating goodies from the local ice cream shop. I decided I needed to have some too, so we walked up and I bought some chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a waffle cone. MmmmMmmm.
Yah, there goes the diet for today, but it was soooo good. I do get bonus calorie buring for walking there and back! A bit later we went to the high school and played tennis on the nice courts...so I burned off some more calories! I made enchiladas and refried beans for dinner...and my hubby made some banana corn bread...yum!

MMO Hoppers Anonymous
Hi, I'm Techie and I'm a MMO hopper.
*pauses for the group to say "Hi Techie"*
I get my share of characters to max level and then get tired of raiding, PVPing, or end-game stuff. I decide to quit that game and move on to another game that will help satisfy my MMO thirst. Or, I start a new game or trial and decide that it isn't for me. I'm not really that picky am I?
Some games I have ran a guild or had made really good friends...and then I turn my back on them and leave the game. I feel bad about doing it. Sometimes we might keep in touch, but for the most part they stay with the game and I move on never to see them again. In serveral games I've gathered good gear and lots of money (gold, credits, ISK, influence, plat, whatever) and uber-cool items...all to be left behind in a closed digital bank never to be opened again.
I've tried most of the "free trials" that are currently available, and havent had any of them stick with me except for Eve. EVE Online has been a nice change of pace, but now I find myself starting to hope for something new...again.

It was another thrilling early Tuesday morning for me at work. Tuesdays always go fast because I never get a chance to stand still. There is always something that needs done. First and foremost, I have the task of stocking the "New Releases" on DVD and CD. Several good movies came out today.
