OMG Go See District 9
Being loyal to my sci-fi fangirl ways, I was out to see District 9 on opening weekend. Any movie I don't start to fall asleep to halfway in is good. I was awake for the whole movie.
This is not your typical aliens-visit-Earth movie. It is something new and different for sure. I don't want to say too much and give anything away. I give it a A+... a must see.

Runes of Magic Glitch Explained
So, recently Runes Of Magic would just crash all of a sudden when I changed zones. It got to be very annoying. It turns out to be a glitch with the graphic settings being set to maximum for character details.
According to Navibo, the problem is with the client's allocated memory on character details. If the "Character Details/Paperdoll Detail" is set to maximum when you zone into a heavy populated area, the client tries to allocate even more memory without freeing the already allocated cache.
Setting the Charatcer details down to a lower setting is supposed to be the temporary fix until the programmers can get a real fix implemented.

Runes of Magic
So, theres this free to play game out now called Runes Of Magic that has me back into playing a game online. Its nice because it is free to play, and it offers many of the features and fun aspects that you would expect out of a game that requires a monthly subscription.
My playtime is pretty limited because of work and all the outdoor activities that go along with summer, and I don't have to feel about paying for a subscription that I will only lightly use.
My character is in her early 40s level wise. She is a Knight/Priest...kind of a "paladin" build that is ideal for soloing. I found a nice guild that helps when I need to group or get some harder quests done. Overall I am happy with the game and the community, and it fits in well with my casual gamer lifestyle.
